Bougainvillea

Thorny ornamental plants.

Can be evergreen or deciduous.

Mostly pest free plant.

Is also drought tolerant and grows best in dry soil.

A good choice for bonsai.

They require bright full sun and minimum use of fertiliser.

The sap from Bougainvillea is known to cause serious skin rash.

Equatorial regions experience year long blooms. Rest of the places they are rather seasonal.

Thank you for visiting.
