The Light in Dark

A smile – it can speak a thousand words, thousands of emotions, feelings without having to utter a single word.

Sometimes we smile because we are truly happy. We are unable to contain that happiness, that contentment in ourselves or in our hearts and we want to share it with everyone. The smile that brings in the light in our lives.

And sometimes we smile because we want to hide the pain in our hearts. The immense pain, excruciating infact but we don’t want to show. Don’t want others to know. The pain that hides in a dark corner of our hearts.

But inspite of the light and dark, we smile. We continue to do so. And always will.
