I was surfing the net when I came across this and I thought it is important to share.
Many of us are familiar with the cute Panda videos on iPanda channel in YouTube but all the same not aware of his distantly related brother the Red Panda.
(The Giant Panda and Red Panda belong to completely different families but share certain common characteristics because of Convergent Evolution.)
The Red Panda is also an endangered species. Today happens to be the International Red Panda Day, well we never heard of that before right?
This is because this species is very rare. It is facing the threat of extinction.
Why?
Well probably because we are eliminating their natural habitat. And when I say natural habitat it means the verdant valleys, mountains and forests it resides in and not the ones that men create for the purpose of entertainment.

This article was published on weather.com and gives us extensive details regarding them.
We can’t expect the Red Pandas to live if all that we do is destroy their homes. Where would you go if someone destroyed yours?
Let us think and act responsibly.
Thank you for reading.
Have a nice day!
