Different ages have gifted mankind with gifted heroes.
Some put their life on the line to protect others, some have fought for their country to state a few.
But the hero I am talking about here is fighting a different war. It is a war which was started by humans themselves and now this hero is trying his best to reverse it.
I am talking about Jadav Payeng (want to know more, click here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jadav_Payeng).
In today’s world where people are busy felling trees, this hero has set an example worth following.
He has single handedly mind it single handedly planted numerous trees on a sandbar of the Brahmaputra river now converting it into a forest reserve.
Sounds unbelievable right? But it’s true.
Nowadays many species of birds and animals call it their home.
Celebrating World Environment Day once a year won’t do any good if you don’t love Mother Nature whole heartedly like you love your family.
Follow his example and make a change. However small a step you take, believe me, it matters.
Let’s pledge for a greener tomorrow.
